The two Afghan hunting hounds come up together, in perfect symmetry, to greet their beautiful owner that has stepped outdoors to gather in the twilight of the night. The beads and sequences of her exquisitely detailed dress, mirrors and shoots off little lights, in hues of the setting sun. She looks down at both adoring eyes and lets go of her heavy musings to give them a gentle and compassionate pat on the heads. The handmade bronze sculpture was molded using the age-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for perpetuation. She is mounted upon a variegated red Tennessee marble base with the European Bronze Finery stamp of quality and the artist D.H. Chiparus's signature.
