Description

Available here for your consideration are four old bits mounted by Jim Brost. Earl Bridges would purchase various old bits that needed silver work or repairs. He would take them to Jim Brost who would then fix them up and re-mount them. Jim Brost worked with Steve Schmitt and originally learned from Steve. These bits are ready to be put to use, or hang them on your wall - they look great!
PROVENANCE: Earl Bridges estate. Earl was a well-known bit and spur collector and a walking encyclopedia on the history of them.
MAKER: Various, but refurbished by Jim Brost.
APPROX AGE: Bits are older, but refurbished in modern times.
SIZE: The mouth pieces measure between 4 1/2 inches to 5 1/8 inches wide. Overall the bits measure between 6 inches to 6 1/2 inches long.
CONDITION: Good, minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
HANDLING: There will be a $10 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot.
SHIPPING: The actual cost of postage will be added on top of the handling charges.
