Two piece German Schmeisser Porzellan Manufaktur (SPM) hand painted and parcel gilt porcelain sweetmeat server, late 19th century, the plate having a pierced ivy rim framing a central floral spray, the plate resting on a donut form tray with four wells decorated with polychrome butterflies and floral spays on a foliate and gilt ground, the bottom with the blue eagle over SPM mark used between (1865-1910).
