Iran, late 19th/ early 20th century. Antique Serapi rug having some natural dyes, centering a large navy and pink medallion with pendants on a crimson field filled with geometric florals framed with a Herati border on a cream ground.

Wear and re-weaving to selvedges, areas of wear to knot heads, (1) 1' slit to center field, (1) l. 18", w. 1.5" patch repair to upper left side of field, scattered pet stains, minor to moderate soil, loss of fringe and kilim on both ends.
