Includes books in cloth, wrappers, and a scrapbook.Small archive of material chronicling the activities of the Franklin Typographical Society of Boston, a benevolent society devoted to printers in the Boston area. Its membership peaked around 500 in 1899, and in its early days included Isaiah Thomas as an honorary member. Some of the items are from the Society's collection, including proceedings of annual meetings and dinner menus; the scrapbook has 30 leaves with newspaper clippings, and manuscript annotations noting details of the Society's activities.
