A Victorian gold turquoise memorial brooch, with a central line of oval turquoise cabochons surrounded by four trefoils of oval turquoise cabochons, all bezel set to a scrolling repousse mount, to a small oval glazed memorial panel verso, with pin and 'C' catch, 42mm x 23mm, tested as approximately 14ct gold, 6.46g Condition Report: A few turquoise cabochons showing some discolouration. Central turquoise cabochon showing one small fine hairline fracture to one side. Appears stable. Two edges of scroll to opposing sides snapped at join from main body. Does not appear to affect the stability or overall appearance of the brooch. A few small dents to brooch edges. Marks and scratches to surfaces. Mount a little dirty. Care should be taken when cleaning, only with a soft damp cloth or mild soapy water and cotton wool. Tarnish.
