Good surfaces and detail on this 1805 draped bust half dollar. Please note the obverse adjustment marks which were made to the planchet prior to the strike. These original marks are found on early U.S. silver and gold coins. Less common past the turn of the century and almost nonexistent by the issuance of the capped bust coins. Adjustment marks do not disallow numerical grading from PCGS or NGC. This coin appears to be approximately XF40.
