Description
A large antique Japanese, Meiji era, Silver wire enamel over brass copper vase. Circa: 1900s. The urn form vase is enameled with polychrome images of cranes made in the Cloisonne technique on a black ground. The upper part and the neck of the ware are adorned with floral, foliage, grape vines, swirl and Phoenix bird patterns made in the same technique. Unmarked.
