Description
China, 1644-1912. Covered in a thick, finely crackled, vibrant red and purple streaked glaze thinning to a mushroom tone at the rim pooling slightly at the base with lavender streaks and thinning to mushroom along the rim.
Provenance: London trade.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear and firing flaws. The foot smoothened in some areas, probably inherent to manufacturing, due to the uneven glaze dripping along the rim which is expected from this type of ware.
