Sergei Yakovlevich Senkin, Russian, 1894 to 1963, letterpress photomontage illustration from the special double issue of the magazine Molodaya gvardiya dedicated to Lenin, 1924. Sergei Senkin studied with Kasimir Malevich during the 1920s in Vkhutemas, visited Malevich in Vitebsk with his friend Gustav Klutsis. There, he developed his own approach to Suprematism.
