Selection of fourteen (14) original 16th to 18th century European engravings or mezzotints; Brief description as follows:(1) Carlo Maratti (Italian, Camerano 1625-1713 Rome): "The Assumption of the Virgin" (2) Herman van Swanevelt (Dutch, 1603 - 1655): Three small engraved landscapes dated 1652, (3) Abel de Pujol ( French, 1785-1861) "Death of Julius Caesar" (4) Engraving of Sir Matthew Lister, M.D. (1571?-1656), a physician to Anne of Denmark, the consort of King James I, and physician in ordinary to King Charles I from whom he received the honour of knighthood. (5) After Sir Anthony van Dyck (1599-1741) and engraved by James MacArdell (Irish, 1729?-1765) "Rubens 2nd Wife. James McArdell, after Sir Anthony Van Dyck.
