Europe, Neoclassical period, ca. 19th century CE. A beautiful vase, sculpted from a stunning black marble with natural striations and inclusions in hues of cream, almond, and vanilla. Boasting an ovoid body with a rounded shoulder and flared rim, the vessel is polished to a lustrous finish that highlights the natural aesthetic of the marble and evokes the black stone used for sculpting in Ancient Egypt.
