Description

13" China doll with deep shoulder head. (KPM) Crossed Swords marking. Ca. 1850's. Very light brown hair style, with brown streaks, hair knot on back of head. Painted blue eyes. Cloth body with china lower arms. Dressed in wonderful antique clothing. Brown/ivory plaid silk dress with decorated brown velvet vest. Undecorated brown velvet bonnet. Cotton petticoat, pantaloons. Wool flannel petticoat. Cloth booties. Label: Costumed by Clara Riggs. Clothing may not be original but is still antique at this point. Condition: small mold imperfection on side of head. Otherwise, nothing observed on shoulder head. This lot is being sold AS IS.
