(Age loss, wear.) 9 1/2" Carved wooden 19th c. "Zouave" type French N. African Infantry figure. This costume was copied from the original and used by the "Fire Zouaves" as a Civil War uniform, started by Firefighters from Philadelphia and New York during the 1860's. And finally, an 8" "Witch" marionette with composite head, torso and limbs. Appears all original with wires. This lot is being sold AS IS.
