Description
ASSORTED VICTORIAN METAL AND GLASS INKWELLS / INK STANDS, LOT OF TWO, one pair light blue glass and another pair translucent starch blue, square-form pressed and cut/factory polished bases and edges, one set with matching hinged glass lids (both seemingly inkwells), and the other with one open top inkwell and one punched-hole top sander, both pairs set in silver-plate stands, one marked "MERIDEN SILVER PLATE" to underside also accompanied by a blown glass pen. Three pieces total. Various makers. Late 19th/early 20th century. 6 3/4" HOA, 7" LOA.

Condition
Good condition overall, both with minor or moderate wear to glass components and perhaps light flaking or roughness at edges, and one inkwell's hinged lid is loosely attached; loss of silver plating and tarnish/corrosion to other metal surfaces.
