Item Details

Description

Probably Austrian, circa 1820, the carved giltwood figure of a winged angel with moving eyes, shown resting upon an ebonized rocky mound housing a white enamelled face (crazing and chips) with Roman numerals, fronting a pendulum driven thirty-hour movement with an hour repeat feature. Splits, minor losses and rubbing to the case. Key and pendulum absent but in working condition at time of cataloguing, requires maintenance, measuring 18" high x 13" wide x 5 3/4" deep.
