Paris: Mourlot, 1964. First edition. Fernand Mourlot. Catalog of the exhibition organized by the French Embassy at the Smithsonian Institution in 1964. Limited in 2200 copies, of which this one is one of 2000 copies in Arches Vellum, the catalog includes original lithographs by Chagall (front cover), Picasso, Miro, Beaudin, Esteve, Matisse, Calder, Giacometti, Guiramand, Florsheim, Cathelin, Brasilier, Brianchon, Cocteau, Minaux, Jenkis, Kito, Menessier, and lithographic reproductions by Braque, Villon, and Glarner. Some splits on the text block in some parts of the book, pages still solid attached. A light bump on the top of the spine runs through the book.
