ANTIQUE FRENCH SOUVENIR PERFUME OR SNUFF BOTTLE WITH STANHOPE, oval form with beveled glass sides and gilt-metal frame, one side featuring a reverse-painted and printed image of Hotel des Invalides in Paris, France, the reverse with a mirror, topped by a stopper that holds a stanhope with seascape view of a ship, suspended by a chatelaine chains attached to a ring. Unmarked. Late 19th/early 20th century. 5 5/8" HOA, 3" HOA bottle.

Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear and surface scratches, some losses to gilt finish on metal, some bending notably to ring, stopper sits loosely on top with cracks to cork, reverse-painted and printed image with a chip to upper left, possibly other spots of flaking, and light discoloration.
