Description
Group of two carvings including one sandstone carving of two walruses by Adamie Kauchak Papigatok (Sugluk/Salluit, Inuit, 20th c). Incised along the underside with the artist's name and disc number E91105. Also included is one carved walrus oosik with polar bear heads along either end.
(Oosik) Length: 22 1/2 in x diameter: 1 3/4 in. (Walruses) Height: 2 3/4 in x width: 7 in x depth: 8 1/2 in.

Condition
Due to the nature of the materials it is difficult to discern the condition of the items. The walrus carvings have wear to the footrims, notably there is a chip to the front left foot. One of the walruses is missing its teeth. A few areas of wear to the bear carvings of the oosik including some small splits and some areas of discoloration throughout.
