Original vintage Soviet poster featuring the lyrics to the song Moscow in May "Morning shines with a soft light to the walls of the old Kremlin..." in the centre against a blue background with the bold red title text - ?????? / Moskva - and people waving red banners and flags on the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge over the Moscow River in front of the Moscow Kremlin above and construction cranes, an industrial factory, cars and city skyscrapers with more patriotic red banners below. The words to Moscow May (1937, 1959) were written by Vasily Lebedev-Kumach and the music was written by the brothers Dmitri and Daniil Pokrassy. Horizontal. Very good condition, minor tears and creases at top and bottom margins. Country of issue: USSR, designer: V. Livanova, size (cm): 58x83, year of printing: 1950.
