The Mystic Swami was produced in 1954 by International Mutoscope Co., similar to the earlier version named "Zelda", but for the first time with a male fortune teller. The male version was not a hit, and the Mystic Swami's rarity made it a most sought-after machine for collectors who appreciated the rarity. There are 11 known machines in existence today. CONDITION: This example has an excellent original colorful interior, original glass on three sides that read "Mystic Swami" and original working mechanism. The Swami's eyes light up and hands move over the lit crystal ball, then delivers your fortune card below. Repainted cabinet in exact original 1954 colors. There were Snake Charmer graphics on the original that, if applied, would make this example complete. The graphics are available. Has keys.
