Description

C. 1931. The Mills Novelty Co. Chicago IL. This is an excellent example of this Mills trade stimulator with gumball vender and gambling feature. The operator of the machine would pick a 3-digit number daily and rotate the numbers on top to show the match. The idea when the customer played was to get the same 3 digits on the spinning wheels, and the patron would get huge prizes, which were most likely cash. CONDITION: This is an all original example, including reel strips, award card, paint and back doors. Plays perfectly, 1 gumball for every penny. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard. Condition: (Excellent) Dimensions: 16" x 12" x 9"
