Item Details

Description

A wonderful oversize cast iron advertising clock made by the Golden Novelty Manufacturing Co., Chicago, Illinois, marked in the rear of the clock. The clock was used to advertise Council Tree Cigars and has a phenomenal casting of cherubs in a tree with vines, grapes and leaves. The original clock is also labeled for the Golden Novelty Manufacturing Co. CONDITION: There are no chips, cracks or breaks to the cast iron. The clock and clock face are original, with copper patinaed cast iron showing age and some oxidation. The clock ticks and appears to run appropriately. Condition: (Very Good) Dimensions: 15" x 12"
