A stunning example of this three-dimensional optical trade sign featuring glass lenses, as well as ornately made features. CONDITION: The two glass lenses remain undamaged. The red lens shows minor paint loss and wear. It is possible that the left-hand clear lens has been replaced at some point in time. The metal frame and body of the sign shows a wonderful early paint job with minor paint loss and age-appropriate wear throughout. The section of the glasses which would set on the customer's nose in real life are highly ornate and detailed and are seldom-seen on such a sign. A rare and highly impressive example.
