Description
(A) A Bollands Amusement Co. Crossing the Alps game. English penny operation, in cast iron case, with great front graphics of the Alps. The coin is dropped and the patron tried to maneuver the coin over the Alps. CONDITION: There is red paint to the case that is probably not original, but with original brass identification labels. It is operational. (B) A coin sorter of English operation. It was most likely used to make change in a penny arcade. It has five glass tubes, and when the drawer was pulled at the bottom, it brought one of each coin out of the tubes. CONDITION: The coin sorter is of walnut construction, with significant finish loss. It has one porcelain scale to show the money in the two tubes, with two porcelain English denominations on the front drawer. Condition: (Good) Dimensions: 21" x 16" x 5" and 12" x 12" x 8"
