Description
1977 Pele's Last Game Full Ticket (Red Variation) PSA NM 7 - This is a full ticket from the final game of the legendary Pele's football career. The game was held on Oct. 1, 1977 with Pele's current team, the New York Cosmos against his former team, Santos FC, at Giants Stadium. The game was a massive worldwide event and a sellout, with Muhammad Ali and Bobby Moore were among the 75,000-plus fans in attendance that night. Pele played the first half of the game for the Cosmos, scoring the final goal of his career on a 30-yard free kick, and at halftime swapped shirts, completing the game with his boyhood club Santos. Pele's substitute for the Cosmos, Ramon Mifflin, scored the game winning goal, ironically handing Pele an inconsequential loss in his farewell game. This is a rare red variation full ticket and has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA and graded a remarkable near mint (NM 7).
