A WILHELM II GILT METAL MOUNTED WALNUT CLOCK, LENZKIRCH, GERMAN, 1860s-1932, in the Renaissance Revival taste, the ball fountain finial to grotesque green man masks, centering a cherub bust over a molded crown above a scrollwork framed clock window opening to blued steel hands and a machined face with Arabic numeral hours, raised on the heads of two lions with shields on a molded plinth fitted with faun grotesque masks, with double fusee clockwork, marked Lenzkirch. Height: 21" Width; 11" Depth: 8"
Condition
Apparent wear and rubbing to clockface from over cleaning, patina to gilt metal mounts, chime bell lacking screw to attach, accompanied by a pendulum. Unknown working condition.
