A GROUP OF THREE ITALIAN AND FLEMISH OLD MASTER PRINTS, 16TH-17TH CENTURIES, comprising an anonymous engraving after Agostino Veneziano (1490-1540), "Saint Matthew Writing," unframed; an anonymous engraving, "Saint Peter Writing," framed; and an engraving by Paulus Pontius (1603-1658), "Pace Reperta," framed; largest framed 16 3/4" x 20 3/4".

Saint Matthew Writing, a reverse image of the Agostino Veneziano engraving (The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, has similar one on their collection website), on laid paper, trimmed to image, some minor discoloration and fox marks as well as pin sized thinned spots in the paper at the center of the image, creases, and remains of old paper hinges and small repaired losses at corners; sheet 9 1/2" x 7". Saint Peter Writing, on laid paper, the sheet has been conserved and there are numerous small repaired tears and losses as well as fox marks, staining and creases including a horizontal crease through the center of the image, framed under glass and a top mat and not examined out of the frame. Paulus Pontius, Pace Reperta, on laid paper, irregularly trimmed to image, after a design by Rubens, the sheet has been conserved and there are small repaired tears and flattened creases as well as a few fox marks, floated against a back mat and framed under glass. Not examined out of the frame.
