A SET OF EIGHT CHINESE INK CAKES, MULTICOLOR AND SHAPED, OLD HU KAI WEN WORKSHOP, PROBABLY REPUBLIC OF CHINA ERA (1912-1949), compressed carbon and pigments, each with relief landscapes, auspicious objects, and calligraphic text with parcel gilt decoration, the side with a workshop mark referencing the name Qianlong; white stick height: 4 1/2", width: 1 1/4".
