A PAIR OF FINA STERLING SILVER "CHERUB AND LION" THREE-LIGHT CANDELABRA, RETAILED BY MICHAEL C. FINA, NEW YORK, 1950s-1960s, in the late victorian art nouveau taste, the swirling foliate and relief flower candle bobeches are each stamped sterling, removing over a central 'Medici' urn issued from scrolling tendril arms and a baluster standard with a relief image of cupid emerging from dense rinceau leafy scrolls with grotesque lion's masks, on a bell form foot raised on a pierced scrolling foliate flared foot with like cupid and foliate motif, base stamped, "Sterling," "By Fina," and number 620, total approximate weight: 66.60 troy ounces. Height: 9" Width: 13 1/2" Depth: 4 1/2"
Condition
Some wax residue, minor handling scratches, and inset candle bobeches do not fit the candle cup flush and is slightly apparent.
