The KORAN: commonly called the ALKORAN OF MOHAMMED. Translated into English from the Original Arabic, by George Sale. New York: American Book Exchange, Tribune Building, 1880. Duodecimo, orig. brown cloth, spine gilt-stamped “The | Koran”. Very good copy of a mass produced American edition of Sale’s 17th-century translation, now difficult to find in condition this good.
