Item Details
Description
circa 1760-1780. An ingenious and unique burl covered container. When flipped the removable cover is used as another bowl in equal size as the base bowl. In excellent condition with waxed over coat finish on exterior and dry original finish on inside. 7" diameter x 5 1/4" tall. This bowl is from the Carlton Stickney Estate and was Carlton's prized possession. Carlton Stickney was St. Lawrence County's Historian and lifetime collector.
