Description

Chinese 18th Century Lotus Flower Petal Patterned Porcelain Bowl & Plate, the petals incised in rose pink with gold & iron red details between. Diameter of the bowl 8 inches (20.3 cm.). Diameter of plate 9 3/4 inches (24.7 cm.). PROVENANCE: The plate with a label for the Leo & Doris Hodroff Collection #pr 5750A to a Private Collection from Connecticut.

Condition

Age related wear to enamels and gilding, the bowl with a chip out of side now re-stuck; the plate with a hairline from outside edge to center with old over-painting now mostly flaking off.
