CHINA-HONG KONG 1868 Silver 1 Dollar, NGC PF 62A marvelous and RARE emission of the Hong Kong Mint, this Dollar offers the specialist in Hong Kong coinage the opportunity to own an example that may not be repeated soon. This coin exhibits all of the traits expected of a proof striking, with highly reflective fields accentuating the matte finish on the portrait and devices. A few light handling marks consistent with the assigned grade. Pewter colored tone is evident in the legends and protected areas of the hair and tiara, with the balance of the obverse remaining bright and fresh. The reverse is equally impressive, with shades of gunmetal blue highlighting the decorative design along the periphery.
