Peter Weevers (born 1941) is an English water color painter, illustrator, and children's book author living in France. His first book, "The hare and the Tortioise," was published in 1984. Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" with Weevers' illustrations was published in 1989. His daughter Tilia, "the Alice of this edition," was born in 1981. Weevers' illustrations received excellent reviews from the Lewis Carroll Society.
