Item Details

Description

Ornate gilt frame usually used for an icon painting, under glass in deep kiot box. Significant loss to the gilt as shown and wear to the wooden frame, but still a beautiful piece. There are some loose bits of gilt included.
17" x 6" x 23" are the outside dimensions. The opening for the painting is 7” x 8.5”. The glass in the door measures 16.5” x 18”.

This lot is part of the collection of showcases and display pieces from the 5th Ave NYC showroom of A La Vieille Russie, the foremost purveyor of Faberge and so much more. When this esteemed jewelry and decorative arts retailer moved locations several years ago, these pieces went into storage and are available to you now.
