Description

PAIR OF EARLY METAL MOUNTED FRENCH PORCELAIN LAMPS: 19th, possibly 18th-century. A pair of ormolu mounted French lamps. The hand-painted porcelain bodies depict a floral bouquet in reserve on one side and figural pastoral scenes at the other, against a blue ground with gilt accents. With foliate scroll twin handles and floral motif bases. With current lampshades, approx. 32" h. The bases approx. 11" dia.

Condition

Light wear to gilt accents, some patina.
