Offered here are four nice rings. This lot offers a great variety of wonderful designs. The first ring is highlighted with seven coral cabochons, resting in sawtooth silver bezels. The settings are accented with silver dots and twisted wire. A conjoined two wire band finishes off this ring nicely. The next ring features two turquoise cabochons, along with a third light brown cabochon displayed in sawtooth bezels. This ring is completed with silver dot accents, a darkened background for contrast, and a smooth silver band. The next ring is adorned with a petrified wood cabochon, accented with silver dots and hand stamped designs. This ring is finished off with a conjoined three wire band. The last ring features one smooth silver band highlighted with hand stamped and overlay designs. Don't miss out on these great rings and bid now!
MAKER: One ring is unmarked and the other is marked 925 (stamped). One of these rings is hallmarked VA conjoined and a foot print (stamped). Vidal Aragon (1923-2015; Kewa). Active since about 1940. In the 1930s, Vidal studied silversmithing at the Santa Fe Indian School. The coral ring is hallmarked BILL & LOU ZUNI (stamped). Bill (1942-;Zuni) and Lucinda (1943-; Zuni) Laweka share a hallmark as husband and wife. Both active since 1960s.
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between the 1930s to 1970s) to Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer).
SIZE: These rings are a size 6 1/2 to 7 1/2. They range in size from 1/4 inch wide to 1 1/4 inches wide. The total weight for these items is 22.1 grams.
