French Restauration Bronze Dore et Patine Candelabrum
second quarter 19th century, now mounted as a lamp, the six-light candelabrum with gilt, reeded candle arms set with leaf-molded candle sockets, supported by a torch and held by a patinated bronze figure of Medea holding a dagger, on a reeded, swag-molded base raised on gilt-bronze paw feet, above a conforming platform, fitted with a pleated silk shade.
