second quarter 19th century, the broad upper tablet with a scroll-molded crest, decorated with giltwood scrollwork and flower heads, supported on each side with pairs of colonettes with water-leaf-carved capitals, the inset panels with Gothic arched tops, the bottom tablet decorated with applied scrollwork, flower heads and medallions.

In as found condition. There are shrinkage cracks to the joints, consistent with age. Loss to the surface of the four columns from rubbing. Scattered flakes and imperfections, consistent with age. A rub to the top right S-curl on the crest.
