Description
Chassis#: 630002, Engine#: S22129, Body# B7672, Condition: NOTE: One of 254 left-Hand drive cars built, this is reported to be the earliest survivor. The vehicle purported to have been purchased from Maryland where it had undergone restoration; however, this has not been verified. ENGINE: 3.5L Inline 6cyl, TRANSMISSION: Manual 4-speed, EXTERIOR: Older good quality full restoration which still shows well overall. Good gloss to paint and most bright work in good condition other than as noted. The front bumper retains shine, however, it appears that the top layer of chrome has been polished through as noted by some haloing on either the left or right outermost sides. A crack of approximately 4 inches in length is present on the right-hand (passenger?s side) windscreen; it originates from the edge of the glass in the middle of the windscreen horizontally inward. Several small blisters to paint on the left hand (driver?s side engine cover. Approximately 2? long area of lifting/ buckling to paint along left-hand ( driver?s side) rear fender signal housing- it is located more towards the trailing edge of the signal housing. Several small areas of brush touch-up are in this area as well. Left-hand (driver?s side) fender signal attachment is loose. Fog lamps are present however electrical connections are currently detached. The Right-hand (passenger?s side) fender signal is loose. Some associated brush touch up present in this area as well. Some checking/ cracking to paint in the rear fender to the running board transition area on the left-hand ( driver?s side). Mostly present in the body to the running board joint. Approximately 2? light scratch to outer rear left hand ( driver?s side ) fender. Two small areas of brush touch up to the top of the left-hand (driver?s side) inner door. Light oxidation to the metal trim strips on both right and left running boards. Approximately 1? hairline crack to rear glass originating from the lower edge of the glass . Approximately 2? horizontal scratch to rear glass. Area of wear ? through to chrome on left-hand (driver?s side) rear bumper. Note that the rear bumper chrome appears thin in a couple of areas upon close inspection. Area of stone chips covering an area of approximately 10? total on the lower right-hand (passenger?s side) rocker panel located on the lower edge below the b pillar area. Area of brush touch-up to front right hand (passenger?s side) moon roof corner. Some oxidation to the chrome on the wire wheels.; INTERIOR: some spots of light mildew discoloration to lower areas of seat leather. Chip to paint in the boot at left hand ( driver?s side) tool kit hinge approximately 1.5? in length. Oxidation to chrome finishes in the boot on the tool kit lid. Some separation and tearing of the boot lid seal.; MECHANICAL: The vehicle has been in storage for an extended period and is not currently running. Although the vehicle appears mechanically complete, a thorough inspection and service will be needed for recommissioning. The air cleaner is currently installed but not permanently affixed.; ADDITIONAL: tool kit present in boot. A crate of original spares is present in the boot. A pair of period-correct California license plates are present in the trunk. Odometer: 59,746 Provenance: The Estate of photographer David Iwerks, the son of legendary Walt Disney animator Ub Iwerks.
