Nien Cheng 念鄭 or Zheng Nian 鄭念 (January 28, 1915 - November 2, 2009) was the pen name of Yao Nien-Yuan (姚念媛). She was a Chinese author known for recounting her experiences during the Cultural Revolution in her memoir Life and Death in Shanghai.

ARTIST BIO: Wang Xuetao 王雪涛 (1903 - 1982) was a Chinese Asian Modern & Contemporary artist who was born in 1903. Native of Hebei province. Wang attended Baoding Zhili Teachers College (保定直隸高等師範) and Peking College of Arts (北平藝術專科學校), later practicing painting under Wang Mengbai, Qi Baishi and Chen Banding. Master Wang XueTao was good at painting flowers & birds / insects, very influential to the coming Chinese brush painters.
