The first rock poster designed by Griffin, who later went on to design many of the most well-known posters of the era.The gathering featured Timothy Leary, Allen Ginsberg, Richard Alpert, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Dick Gregory, Gary Snyder, Michael McClure, and others, including "All San Francisco Rock Bands." One of the iconic event posters of the 1960s, spreading the word about what was probably the last authentic gathering before the innocence of the culture would be diluted and commercialized.

Generally light toning and edgewear, creasing and a few minuscule closed tears to right edge; area of darker toning to verso; poster has been stored rolled; very good.
