Original pressbooks with pictorial ads and promotional material for the serial “The Return of Chandu (the Magician)” and the re-edited feature-length version, “Chandu on the Magic Island”. “The Return of Chandu…” is in color wrappers with “opening door” covers and with three color inserts laid-in (approximately 18 ½ x 12 ¼”). “Chandu on the Magic Island” in original blue wrappers printed in black (approximately 17 ½ x 12”). Some creases, general wear, soiling, occasional chipping. A very good group for these charming and rare pressbooks for this unusual serial and film, one of the rare instances of Lugosi playing a hero.
