A Historic Blue Staffordshire 'West Point' Chestnut Reticulated Basket and Undertray
E. Wood & Sons, Burslem, England, Early 19th Century
both impressed Wood on underside.
Height of basket 4 x length 11 x width 7 3/4 inches (including handles).

Condition

In overall fine and stable condition. Undertray with scattered firing flaws and light wear and crazing to underside. Few deeper, textured scratches visible within central decoration, consistent with use. Basket seemingly without damage or repairs to reticulation. Scattered firing flaws, with repair to one handle and repaint/touchups to second handle.
