A naval course corrector used to mechanically convert a ship's true course to magnetic course and compass course when the variation, deviation or the compass error becomes known. A mechanical arm rotates around the axis with locking screws to capture a position on the two inner dials. No apparent markings.
Dimensions: 10 X 10 X ,25 in.
Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear. Retains it's patina. Darkened area seen around. Estate fresh to the market.
