Chinese Blue and White Six-Tube Lotus Porcelain Bottle Vase. Cluster of six conjoined vases with one taller on center and surrounded by fifth conjoined body. Thick and slight tall, ovoid bodies connected together with one larger vase at the center, all rounded shoulder tapering gracefully to a prominent straight neck below a slightly flaring upper open lip, raised on small flat base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Lotus is one of the most significant flowers in the Chinese culture. It symbolizes the holy seat of Buddha. Because the flower rises from the mud and blooms in exquisite beauty it symbolizes perfection and purity of both the heart and mind.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
