The King writes to thank his correspondent 'for another week's splendid sport at Moy' and continues to add that he especially enjoyed 'the last day when I got my record bag & record drive', further remarking 'If only the weather had behaved a little better we should have made a wonderful bag', also sending the Queen's thanks for the hospitality and informing Mackintosh that 'We had a good run on Saturday & got here in time for tea, the road was not too good, but the weather was fine, Bardie came with us as far as the Devil's Elbow. We are going out this morning to see if we have any grouse'. Some very light age wear and some minor staining to the verso of the final page, otherwise VG
