Asian decorative object collection, 19th/20th c., primarily Southeast Asia, (8) pieces, incl. a Japanese traveling shrine with gilt interior and polychrome painted buddha, 11.75"h x 6"w x 4"d; a carved and painted stone pagoda, 16.25"h x 4.75"dia; molded clay Buddhist offering, 4.5"h x 3.5"w; a cast resin seated buddha, 9"h x 4.5"w; a Burmese carved and silvered mask with mirror inlay, 14"h x 6.5"w; an embroidered and beaded Chinese woman's hat; a pressed white metal breastplate with dangling bells and cones, and a mirror with white metal (possibly silver)repousse border and back, 9"dia
Condition
Fair, all show wear consistent with age and use; shrine doors do not fully close; pagoda base and 1st level separates from rest (dowel connects them), dangling carved beads are separate, mostly retained, some chips to points on roofs; mask with losses and cracks **Note: Condition reports are based on visual inspection under typical office lighting.
