Vintage Steiff Mohair Bear on Wheels Ride on Toy With Pull String for Growl.
Circa 1950s.
Steiff riding bear standing on all fours, mounted on a black metal chassis and rides along on four red wheels with white rubber tires.
She/He has a short mohair muzzle, black pupil eyes and a brown embroidered nose and mouth (some stitching on nose is missing).
Bear is unjointed, paws are made from flesh colored pads.
Approximate dimensions: height: 18 inches, length: 26 inches, width: 10 1/4 inches.
Condition: Mohair is soft and in good overall original estate condition, on one foot near wheel, there is a slight seam separation of mohair, both eyes present, embroidered nose has some stitches missing, growler string is present but not working, normal age related wear, has never had attention...A NEGLECTED BEAR (view photo).
